What we store

When you start a session, GroomSpeak creates a random session ID (a UUID). The speech details you enter (including names and your story) are stored under that UUID only. There is no account, no login, and no record tied to your identity.

Our application does not collect your name, phone number, or any other personally identifying information independently of your session content. The email address you enter at Stripe checkout is used as described under Email below. The names you provide in the form are used solely to generate your speech.

How long it is stored

All session data is automatically deleted from GroomSpeak's own systems 48 hours after creation. Deletion is enforced by a time-to-live (TTL) set at the storage layer the moment your session is created, not by a separate purge job. Once deleted, sessions are unrecoverable. There is no backup that retains your data after deletion.

Separately, the content sent to our speech-generation provider is subject to that provider's own retention policy, described under Speech generation below.

Who can access it

Your session is reachable only through your private session link. Be aware that the link works like a key: anyone who has it can open your session, so do not forward it or share it publicly. GroomSpeak administrators do not routinely view session content. Server logs are minimal and do not retain personally identifying information beyond standard error tracking.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. GroomSpeak never sees or stores your credit card details. Payment data and session data are not linked after the payment is confirmed.

Email

Stripe collects an email address at checkout to send you a payment receipt. The moment your payment confirms, GroomSpeak sends one transactional email to that address containing your private session link, delivered via Resend. We do not store your email address in our own systems, do not add it to any list, and do not send marketing or follow-up messages. Stripe and Resend retain transaction and delivery records for a limited period under their own policies.

One exception, and it is opt-in: if you start checkout, tick the follow-up consent box Stripe shows, and do not finish paying, we send a single reminder email with a link to resume your checkout. No box ticked, no email — and we never send a second one either way.

Speech generation

Speech content is sent to the Anthropic API (the company behind Claude) to generate your draft. It is sent by session UUID only, never with your name or email address. Anthropic retains API data for a limited period under its commercial data policies and does not use it to train models by default. GroomSpeak never uses your content to train any model.

Tracking

GroomSpeak uses one third-party script: Plausible, a privacy-first analytics service that counts visits and shows us which pages are useful. It sets no cookies, collects no personal information, does not follow you across other sites, and never sees your speech content.

That is the whole list. There are no advertising pixels, no ad-platform trackers, no retargeting, and no session-replay software — our analytics never see your keystrokes or your speech content. We do not sell your speech data, use it for advertising, or share it for any unrelated purpose. It is transmitted only to the service providers needed to run GroomSpeak — Stripe, Anthropic, and Resend — as described above.

Your rights

Sessions self-delete within 48 hours, so most privacy requests resolve themselves. If you want something deleted sooner, or have any question about your data, email support@groomspeak.com and we will act on it promptly.

Your session link

Because there is no account system, your session link is the only way to access your speech. The link is emailed to you with your Stripe receipt, so it stays in your inbox. We recommend bookmarking it as a backup. After the 48-hour window closes the session is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
